“All things are difficult before they are easy.” – Thomas Fuller
After running a few half marathons, 10-mile races, and other events, I decided to enter the lottery for the Marine Corps Marathon. Luckily, I received a bib! I started researching plans, learning from the professionals, and generally trying to gather as much information as I could prior to my training.
It’s going to be tough (and tougher by the day!) but it is already teaching me many valuable lessons that I can translate into the rest of my life, and giving me greater insights as to who I am who I can become.
I will be documenting more of my experiences in posts to come. But for now, I am excited to begin this new journey!
